Open Sky Community Services provides the foundation for those we serve to see beyond and live beyond their circumstance. By blending best practices with the power of community, we enable individuals and families to achieve their goals and live their best lives. Open Sky was born through the affiliation of two premier human service organizations – Alternatives and The Bridge of Central Massachusetts. While our name and agency is new, our collective histories are long and strong.
Open Sky offers: services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities; programs for children, adolescents and adults with mental health challenges; adult family care; services to people with brain injury; care management and coordination; housing and homelessness services; trauma response services; and a counseling center.

For over forty years, AdCare Hospital has helped individuals and families struggling with alcohol and drug use… one life at a time. The AdCare name represents innovation, quality and cost efficiency in alcohol and drug treatment. AdCare’s integrated system of care offers a nationally recognized hospital facility in Worcester, MA an inpatient treatment center in North Kingstown, RI and a network of outpatient offices conveniently located throughout Massachusetts and RI. We believe that addiction is a disease that affects not only the individual, but his or her family as well. Successful treatment requires placement at the appropriate level of care and involvement of the family throughout the treatment continuum.
